Fishing Report from the Cave

Hey guys thought I would keep you updated about the fishing to your south. Weather has been typical Kentucky Spring weather with some extra wind. Not the greatest recipe for fishing.

Water temps on 4-18-09 were in the upper 50's with near 60 temps by evening. Fishing seemed better in the afternoon. We had 3 fish drill baits with no hookups, two follows and 1 fish hooked at the boat that shook off. Fish seem to be ready to go but with the weather and rapid water level decrease from the dam; they just haven't taken off. Fish seem to be interested in traps and jerkbaits.
