The end to a long 2 days of rainy, no muskie hell. We fished some beautiful water, sunup to sundown, for 2 days. The boat looked like a tackle shop exploded, with all the different baits we through at them. We caught tons of smallmouth to keep things interesting on Fri, but the lack of muskie action was starting to get us down. We talked to several other boats, and it wasn't just us for a change. The weather started to settle down on Sat, we caught some bigger bass and the northerns started hitting, esox in the boat was keepin us goin. Finally tripped the trigger a muskie, swing and a miss right by the boat. After all that happened to us that trip the rain, lightning, Jeff putting a hook in his wrist from a small pike, breaking lips on baits, cutting hooks (outa Jeff) ruining his favorite reef hawg, was almost enough to make ya quit. But we didn't, though it was the muskie we were looking for, we were high five'in anyway. 38" norhter pike on a zara spook and a bass rod. Check out the video
